Whilst facilitating, I am often struck by how talented and experienced female leaders underestimate their abilities and set goals below their true potential. Usually there is a disconnection from their powerful self in the area that they struggle. Societal expectations, internalised pressure and competing roles often lead women to prioritise others while placing their own drive on hold.
That is what inspired me to create the Alignment Atelier Retreats set in the beautiful surroundings of East Sussex. These retreats are designed to create space for female leaders who are at a point of wanting to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their direction. Neuroscience shows that working with imagery, materials and reflection multiple areas of the brain engage supporting: deeper intuitive and intellectual insight, emotional processing and lasting change.
